SMITHFIELD—Louis Pernell Delk, 49, died Jan. 29, 2008.

Mr. Delk was a supervisor at Smithfield Packing Company for 33 years.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Delk; his mother, Georgia Green; his father, Junious Wilkerson; four daughters; three sons; five sisters; three brothers; two grandchildren; one goddaughter; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Tynes Memorial Cemetery.

Viewing was to be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with a wake service from 5 to 6 p.m.
