The Franklin Department of Parks and Recreation and Ruth Camp Campbell Memorial Library are teaming up to bring a Young Audiences of Virginia performance of the J. Plunky Branch Duo to celebrate Black History Month. The performance will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the library. The duo performs traditional and contemporary jazz music using keyboard, tenor and alto sax, African flutes and more.
