AHOSKIE, N.C.—Henry Clayton Porter, died Jan. 22, 2008 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.

Mr. Porter was a member of New Ahoskie Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Michael H. Porter of Elizabeth City, N.C.; four sisters, Queenie Britt and Eunice Porter, both of Ahoskie, Katie Myrick of Murfreesboro, N.C. and Dorothy Webster of Elizabeth City; and two grandchildren.

A funeral was conducted Tuesday at New Ahoskie Baptist Church by the Rev. Patrick Young.

Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Ahoskie.

Reynolds Funeral Home, Inc., Ahoskie, was in charge of arrangements.
