Edna H. Bradshaw

FRANKLIN—Edna Virginia Hennaman “Nanny” Bradshaw, 89, widow of Noah “Pete” Bradshaw, died Jan. 25, 2008.

Born in Prince George County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late David Samuel and Alma Tatum Hennaman.

Mrs. Bradshaw was predeceased by a son Robert A. Bradshaw, son-in-law, William Hadsell, great-grandson, Warren “Trip” Kent, and eight brothers and sisters.

She attended Grace Memorial United Methodist Church.

A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and “Nannie”, she was a woman that gave her life to her family and children.

She touched the hearts of the children and adults in a way that was never forgotten throughout their lives. It not only touched our hearts, but our souls as well. You knew you were loved and with that came laughter and comfort.

Survivors include her daughter, Betty B. Hadsell; her son, Keith H. Bradshaw and wife Geri; 14 grandchildren, Betty B. Smith; Russell C. Brett and wife Christine; Ann H, Ferguson and husband Mike; Robert A. Bradshaw Jr. and wife Karen; Kristi B. Atkins and husband Ed; Ryan Noah Bradshaw; Kelly Hart Bradshaw; Elizabeth Stratton; Diane H. Spicer and husband Frank; Laura H. Anderson; Michael J. Hadsell and wife Pam; Carol H. Gaskin and husband Bud; Nancy Hadsell; Bill Hadsell; 17 great-grandchildren, Jessica and Amy Brett; Jennifer Stuart and husband Jay; Amanda Morton and husband Ben; Elizabeth Ann Smith; Frances Grace Bradshaw; David and Katherine Atkins; Carolyn Kent Dyer and husband Nick; Brian P. Kent and wife, Elizabeth; Kathryn Howard; Anna, Mary, and Mike Hadsell; Adam Gaskin; Jim and Ian Hadsell;

five great-great-grandchildren, Skylar; Ethan; Matthew; Joshua; Charles; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was conducted Tuesday at Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Mary Marshall officiating.
