PARKSLEY—Nancy Bloxom Lewis Matthews, died

Dec. 24, 2007.

Mrs. Matthews was born in Bloxom, Va., on Dec. 20, 1922.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Fletcher Lewis and Mae Bloxom Lewis; her husband, Norman Matthews; and her daughter, Debbie Matthews.

Survivors include her sisters, Violet Lewis Stallings of Newport News and Mary Elizabeth Lewis Broughton and husband Henry of Bremerton, Wash.; four nephews, John W. Stallings of Berkley, Calif., Stanley L. Stallings and wife Sheila of Smithfield, Bill Broughton and wife

Debbie of Bremerton, and Bobby Broughton and wife Angela of Vancouver; one niece, Gloria Stallings Brooks and husband Corky of Newport News; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service was held Dec. 28 at Williams Funeral Home in Parksley with burial in John T. Taylor Cemetery, Temperanceville.
