EAST ORANGE, N.J.—Dorothy M. Duck, 78, died Dec. 26, 2007, in East Orange General Hospital.

A native of Isle of Wight, she had resided in East Orange for five years.

Survivors include a son, Vernice Duck (Vanessa) of East Orange, N.J.; a brother, Patrick Duck of Franklin; three sisters, Janice D. Brothers of Norfolk, Jackie D. Stallings of Suffolk

and Melissa Duck of Red Bank, N.J.; two devoted nephews, Phillip and Michael Duck, both of Red Bank, N.J.; two devoted cousins, Yvonne and Charles McKelvin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service was held Thursday at Chapel Grove United Church of Christ, conducted by the Rev. H. Carlyle Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Tynes-Edwards Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
