WAKEFIELD—Fannie Rose Bailey Holt, 80, widow of John Andrew Holt Jr., died Dec. 24, 2007.

Mrs. Holt was born in Sussex County, a daughter of the late Howell James and Hazel Branch Bailey.

She was predeceased by a son, John Andrew Holt III.

She retired as a nurse’s aide from Louise Obici Hospital and was a lifelong member of Wakefield United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Deane Holt Moore and husband Billy of Ivor, Tammie Holt Cahoon and husband Tom of Wakefield; five grandchildren, Earl Holland Edwards Jr. and wife Kristi, David Andrew Edwards and wife Theresa, Heather Lynn Holt, Ruth Elizabeth Koerber, Shannon Holt Coble and husband, Justin; five great-grandchildren, Dylan Christopher Edwards, Holt Avery Edwards, Cohen Michael Edwards, Destiny Lee Rose Holt, and Cameron Andrew Coble.

A private graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wakefield Cemetery. Wright Funeral Home is assisting the family.
