SUFFOLK—Robert Earl Jolly, 73, of 1340 Cherokee Court, died Dec. 20, 2007, at his residence.

Mr. Jolly was a native of Suffolk and son of the late Mable J. Everett and stepson of James M. Everett Sr.

He attended Booker T. Washington High School and Norfolk State University. He worked as a bricklayer. His religion was a Baptist.

Survivors include four daughters, Patrice N. Weaver (Andre) of Suffolk, Sharon J. Robertson (Neal) of Georgia, Valerie N. Darden (Joe) of Franklin and Cheryl Dildy of Virginia Beach; one stepdaugher, Linda Jacobs; two sons, Karnell Jolly (Connie) of Maryland and Earl Jolly of Portsmouth; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held today at 2 p.m. at Crocker Funeral Home, with the Rev. Janice White officiating.

Interment will be in Carver Memorial Cemetery.

The family will be at 404 Great Oak Court, Suffolk, Va., 23434.
