COURTLAND—Margaret Heathcoh of Main Street, passed Dec. 6, 2007.

The Southampton County native was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Mrs. Heathcoh was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Heathcoh; her parents; one daughter, Maggie J. Cole; one son, Robert Heathcoh Jr.; one sister, Elsie Crumsey; and one brother, Henry Novell.

She is survived by six grandchildren, Margaret Joyner, Cynthia A. Taylor (Ricky), Mary E. Jones (Quincy), Otis Cole (Teresa), Joe Cole (Amy) and the Rev. Jeremiah Cole (Janice); six great-grandchildren and many other relatives.

A service honoring her sacred walk in life was held Monday in Shiloh Baptist Church, 30188 Shiloh Road, Boykins, where the Rev. Curtis Mitchell is pastor.

The Rev. Jeremiah Cole delivered the message of comfort. On the day of service, her remains were placed in church for viewing. The service of committal and benediction was be held in Pine Level Church Cemetery, Capron. A traditional service with dignity was conducted by Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 S. Main St., Franklin.
