EDENTON, N.C.—Josie Lynn Copeland, 5, died Dec. 5, 2007, in the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Hospital

Josie is survived by her parents, Tracy and Mack Copeland; a sister, Sarah Ashley Copeland; her paternal grandmother, Joyce McNamara of Franklin; and her maternal grandmother, Mary Wells of Florida.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Evans Funerals and Cremations Chapel in Edenton with the Rev. Danny Gurganus officiating. Burial was in Copeland Family Cemetery in Tyner, N.C.
