FRANKLIN—Mr. and Mrs. F. David Rabil announce the engagement of their daughter, Marjorie Vaughan Rabil, to James Alan Keeney, the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. John Keeney of Orange, Virginia.

Rabil is a 1999 graduate of Franklin High School and a 2003 graduate of the University of Virginia.

She received a bachelor of science degree in architecture from Virginia and went on to earn a masters in architecture from North Carolina State University in 2005.

She is presently working in the architecture firm of Rhett Architects in Charlottesville.

Keeney was a 1995 graduate from Orange High School and a 2005 graduate from Virginia Tech where he received a bachelor of science degree in technology education.

Before attending Virginia Tech he served five years in the United States Army.

He is currently an estate manager in Rapidan, Va.

An evening wedding will be held on Oct. 18 at the Franklin Baptist Church.
