NEWSOMS—Sherry and Randy Vann of Newsoms and Allen and Carolyn Lowe of Franklin are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Lee Lowe, to Timothy James Sivers, the son of Sonny and Linda Sivers of South Gibson, Pa.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Southampton High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in biology from Bridgewater College in Bridgewater.

She is employed by Helix3 of Morrisville, N.C.

The prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Mountain View High School, Kingsley, Pa. He earned a bachelor of science degree in landscape architecture from Temple University, Philadelphia, Pa.

He is employed by Horvath Associates of Durham, N.C.

The wedding is planned for May 10 on the beach of Nags Head, N.C.

A reception for the couple will be held in Pennsylvania on July 5.
