SAND SPRINGS, Okla.—Christopher James Floyd, 13, died Nov. 24, 2007.

He was born Jan. 23, 1994 in Tulsa, Okla.

Survivors include his mtoher, Leslie Floyd; his father, James Floyd; a sister, Andrea Floyd; and a brother, Justin Floyd, all of the home; grandparents, Richard and Carole DeBoo of Conrad, Mont. and C.M. Floyd Jr. and Carolyn Floyd of Murfreesboro, N.C.; great-grandmother, Mary Ellen Brownell of Conrad; four aunts; four uncles; and numerous cousins and friends.

He was a student at Moriah Christian Academy in Sand Springs and a member of Jubilee International Christian Center, also in Sand Springs.

He also was a member of Boy Scout Troop 507, Sand Springs.

He held the rank of Star Scout and was well on his way to the rank of Eagle, scouting’s highest rank.

He had also been accepted into Scouting’s Order of the Arrow.

Both he and his father were active in the troop and enjoyed hiking and camping trips with the troop.

The funeral was held Tuesday at Jubilee International Christian Center. The Revs. Ronn Gloss, Bill Eubanks and Dan Fisher officiated.

Burial followed in Meadowbrook Cemetery in Tulsa.

Arrangements were handled by Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel.
