Juanita W. Greene

SUFFOLK—Juanita Wilson Greene, 85, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandma, died Nov. 20, 2007, in East Pavilion surrounded by her family.
Born in Gates County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Berter Wilkins Wilson and was the widow of Martin Edward Greene.
She was predeceased by three sisters and two brothers.
Mrs. Greene was a charter member of West Suffolk Baptist Church, formerly Tabernacle Baptist Church, and the adult Sunday school class.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary G. Scott and husband Roy, Bessie Turner Stow and husband Ben, and son James M. Greene and wife Dorothy; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Sidney F. Harrell Chapel of Harrell and Hill Funeral Home by the Rev. Arthur J. McGahan.
Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.
Friends may join the family at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 4 to 5 p.m. for visitation.
