Annual planting season is fast approaching. Every year several million pine trees are planted in Southampton County between January and March. Have a couple acres in your back yard you would like to have pine trees in? A field you don’t plant any more? A cutover area not growing back like you want? One acre or 1,000, it can be planted.

Whether you are interested in a nice view out your back window, wildlife habitat, carbon sequestration or timber production, planting can meet any or all of your goals.
