Yolan Cheiky

SUFFOLK—Yolan Cheiky, 88, formerly of Windsor, died Nov. 15, 2007.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Cheiky was the daughter of the late Steve and Anna M. Ach and widow of Joseph Cheiky Jr. of Windsor, who died May 29, 1982.

She and her husband, their parents, including her husband’s maternal grandfather were Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1917.

Survivors include a brother, Steve Ach and wife Betty; son, Thomas Cheiky and wife Sunny; daughter, Yolanda (Ann) Corlew and husband James; grandchildren, Deborah Jones and husband James IV, Rebecca Andrews and husband Roger and Stephen Corlew; great- granddaughter, Amy Prillaman and husband Scott; and stepgreat-granddaughter, Nicole Jones. A memorial service will be held Monday at 6 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1351 White Marsh Road, Suffolk.

In lieu of flowers, a modest contribution may be made to Jehovah’s Witnesses. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.
