Edward F. LaRocque

SPRIG GROVE—Edward Francis LaRocque, 68, died Nov. 15, 2007, at Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg.
Mr. LaRocque was born in Springfield, Mass., he was the son of the late Francis Edward LaRocque and Helen Marceluk LaRocque.
He retired after 20 years as Chief Petty Officer in the U. S. Navy and served five tours of duty in Vietnam.
Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Eleanor Lewis LaRocque; two daughters, Lori Anne Joyner of Smithfield and JoceLyn LaRocque of Chester; three sons, Thomas E. Joyner of Spring Grove, Christopher LaRocque of Newport News, and James A. Joyner of Spring Grove; seven grandchildren including Adam Vaughan, Brittany Joyner, and Joseph W. Joyner; and a sister, Judy Bryant of Medford, Ore.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Purviance Chapel, Wakefield, assisted the family with arrangements.
