SUFFOLK—Lisa Keech and Carl Keech announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Michele Keech to Kenneth Allan Birdsong, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Wayne Birdsong of Wakefield and Kathleen Birdsong Riche and Normand Riche of Lyman, Maine.

Keech is a 2000 graduate of Windsor High School and a 2002 graduate of Southampton Memorial School of Nursing. She is currently employed as a LPN.

Birdsong is a 1999 graduate of Kennebunk High School in Kennebunk, Maine.

He is currently employed with Vane Line Bunkering Inc. as a tankerman.

She is the granddaughter of Charlie Francis of Suffolk and Barbara Francis of Lucama, N.C., Mrs. L.E. Keech (Angelena) and the late Lester Keech of Franklin.

He is the grandson of the late William Sullivan and Edith Sullivan of Maine and the late John and Mildred Birdsong of Southampton County.

The wedding will take place Jan. 5 at South Quay Baptist Church.
