89, formerly of Fayetteville, Pa., died Oct. 27, 2007.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Walter Henry Larson. She was born Sept. 19, 1918, in Courtland, daughter of the late Ashton Eugene and Martha Sarah (Pattie) Applewhite.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend is survived by a son, Walter Douglas and his wife Dana of Hershey; two daughters, Patti L. and her husband Thomas Walsh of Hummelstown and Glenda L. and her husband Terrence Murphy of Pittsburgh; and six grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Allen Applewhite of Courtland.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who loved her dearly.

A memorial service will be held Saturday in the Derry Presbyterian Church Chapel at 1 p.m.

The family will receive friends at the church following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Derry Presbyterian Church, 248 East Derry Road, Hershey, PA 17033. Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. of Hershey is handling the arrangements.
