Franklin Kiwanis Club thankful for many things

To the Editor:
As we come closer to our National Day of Thanksgiving, I am sure most of us have a great many things to be thankful for.
The Franklin Kiwanis Club is truly thankful for many things. To Fred’s Restaurant, which allows us to have fund-raising dinners; to David, who always makes sure the food is delicious and plentiful.
To our many friends who come to these dinners to help us with funds for our youth projects. To other Kiwanis members from Division 21 that travel from the Hampton Roads area to support us.
To our teacher advisers for our two youth clubs, one at Southampton Middle and one at Southampton High School. They spend hours of their own time to help us teach youth that giving of their time to help others is part of what we Americans do. (This month they are trick or treating for UNICEF).
To the two school administrators who allow time during school hours for these clubs to meet, and plan their activities. To all of you we give thanks for who you are and what you do.
