To the editor:

I am Janice Hardison, retired Commissioner of the Revenue and mother of Curtis Hardison. I would like to share with you why I support Curtis Hardison for Clerk of Court, not as a mother, but rather a concerned citizen of the county.

Curtis not only has the experience, education and training for the position, as you have heard throughout the county, but he genuinely cares about the people in Isle of Wight. His lifetime desire is to live and work here full time with the people that mean so much to him. His present career will allow him to work in many areas in the state of Virginia, but the clerk’s office will allow him to devote his life to our citizens rather than someone else in Virginia.

Curtis has counseled on his time many of our youth, young married people, young and old adults whenever they had a need and never complained one minute. He will truly be an asset to the citizens of Isle of Wight County because he cares enough to give you his very best always without consideration for himself.

That is who he is and the Christian person that you will get, if you vote for Curtis Hardison for our Clerk of Court.
