SUFFOLK—Daniel Karl “Dan” Buck, 59, died Oct. 17, 2007 at his sister’s home in Wake Forest.

Mr. Buck was born in Franklin, a son of the late Fred and Allie Mizelle Buck.

He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and was employed by International Paper.

Survivors include two sisters, Nina B. Drewry of Franklin and Nikki B. Slocum of Wake Forest; one brother Fred Buck Jr. of Wake Forest; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are private.
