SUFFOLK—Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Harrell Jr. of Suffolk, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Ann Harrell, to Travis Lee Bogle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry E. Bogle of Salisbury, N.C.

Harrell is a 2001 graduate of Nansemond Suffolk Academy.

She is also a 2006 graduate of North Carolina State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in both Chemical Engineering and Chemistry.

Bogle is a 1996 graduate of West Rowan High School and earned his Bachelor of Science, in 2000, and Master of Arts, in 2002, from East Carolina University.

She is employed by UOP as a Refinery Technical Advisor, and Travis is completing his Master of Public Administration through the University of Colorado.

The couple currently resides in Chicago, Ill. and will soon begin working abroad for the next three years.

They are to be wed Sept. 6, 2008 on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
