WINDSOR—Doris Hopkins Everett, 81, died Oct. 15, 2007, in Burlington, N.C.

Born in North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Alveta G. Hopkins and widow of Ernest J. Everett Sr.

Mrs. Everett was a member of Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Ernest Jess Everett Jr. of Snow Camp, N.C. and Robert Allen Everett of Elizabeth City,

N.C.; daughter, Virginia A. Everett of Windsor; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2

p. m. at the R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home & Crematory by the Revs. Tommy Love and Steve Loy with burial in Holly Lawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m.
