To the Editor:

Curtis Hardison is my choice for Clerk of Court because, after reviewing all the candidates experience, education and platforms, he stands out from all the rest. I fully understand why he is a lieutenant with the State Police with all the things that he has accomplished in his 19 years of public service.

I know that the State Police promotion system requires proven experience, written and verbal testing before you are considered for promotion and Curtis has successfully met all the challenges.

From the record rooms to the courtrooms he has demonstrated innovative leadership with personal dedication to the quality of record maintenance and customer service. Curtis has always been sensitive to the needs of working people and will devote the clerks’ office to quality record keeping along with the customer service that we deserve. A vote for R. Curtis Hardison is a vote for the working people of Isle of Wight County.
