GREENSBORO, N.C.—Jimmie Ray Frost, 52, died unexpectedly Sept. 20, 2007.

A native of Chesapeake, he later moved to Greensboro. He was a graduate of Western Branch High School and Frederick Military Academy. He loved to be around people.

Preceded in death by his father, Keeling O. Frost Jr. and brother, Ronald Wayne Jones.

Survivors incldue his mother, Virginia Jones and husband Dick Jones of Smithfield; sisters, Sharon Frost Hutchins and husband Dr. Gregory Hutchins of Portsmouth, Martha Kay Frost of Newport News and Leslie Jones Moody of Smithfield; two stepsisters, Debra Jones Hoghey of Tampa, Fla., and Kori Jones Vernon and husband George of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and four nephews.

A memorial service was held Thursday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, 3920 Airline Blvd., Chesapeake.

The family would like to give special thanks to Debbie Fisher for all her caring and support given to him.
