To the editor:
I have known Curtis Hardison all his life and have the up most respect for his abilities and integrity.
One of my first memories is that as a five-year-old he took his dad by the hand and helped him walk to the mailbox down the long farm lane.
His dad recovering from major surgery from a lymphoma tumor in his chest and could only walk with the help of a cane and with someone steadying his other side.
Curtis was that helping hand and as he grew up, he has extended his hand and heart to people throughout the state of Virginia and Isle of Wight County.
Curtis has always demonstrated that he cared sincerely about everyone, including the young and old.
He has achieved a great deal in his 19 years of public service and never ever forgot that all people sometimes need a helping hand. As your clerk of the circuit court, Curtis will bring that helping hand to you and will never let you down.
His boundless energy and willingness to sacrifice himself for our community in our time of need goes beyond any public servant that I have ever known.
When you look at the three candidates for clerk of court, Curtis’ qualifications, experience and platform separates him very clearly from the others.
My vote will be for Curtis Hardison for clerk of court and I hope that you will study his platform and I am sure you will agree with me.
