BRANCHVILLE—John Henry Stancell, 83, died Sept. 23, 2007 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville, N.C.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Galilee Baptist Church, Branchville, with the Rev. Claudie Grant officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Viewing of the remains will be held from 1 to 6 p.m. Sept. 27 at Faison’s Funeral Home.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Faison’s Funeral Home, Seaboard, N.C.
