Casey J. Heaster

NORFOLK—Casey Jay Heaster, 57, died Sept. 25, 2007. He was born in Clintonville, W.Va. the son of Clada Oney Heaster and the late Calvin Heaster.
Mr. Heaster was also predeceased by his son, Robert A. Streich.
He retired as Senior Chief for the United States Navy having served during Vietnam and Desert Storm.
He later went on to own and operate Critter Control of Virginia Beach.
He was a member of James Chapel Methodist Church in West Virginia.
Casey was a passionate for all things outdoors.
He was an avid hunter and
fisherman and he spent a lot of time with family and friends participating
in his favorite hobbies.
In the spring he enjoyed driving his tractors and
planting sweet corn.
He was a certified electrician he enjoyed working
on boats and cars and all things mechanical.
Home was Norfolk
but he enjoyed dividing his time between the mountains of West Virginia and his farm in Drewryville,.
Survivors include
his wife of 27 years, Dawn Aday Heaster of Norfolk; mother, Clada Oney Heaster of Clintonville; son and daughter-in-law, Frazier “Lucky” Streich and Amy B. Streich of Drewryville; granddaughter, Krysten Heath; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and Frank Hampton of Louisburg, W.Va.; brother and sister-in-law, Calvin Heaster
Jr. and Debbie Heaster of Clintonville; numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3515 Robs Dr., Suffolk, VA 23434 with the Rev. Roger D. Johnson officiating.
A time of visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
Burial with military honors will be on Saturday at End of the Trail Cemetery in Clintonville, W.Va.
