The fans of the Isle of Wight Academy Chargers want to thank you and the reporters of The Tidewater News for the great coverage that you have given us in your newspaper…and the season is just beginning!

We are advising everyone here in Smithfield and Windsor to subscribe to your paper because our local paper, The Smithfield Times, does nothing.

They don’t even send a reporter to our home games.

It is very disappointing, but thanks to you guys, we have hope.

We look forward to your articles and, again, appreciate it so much.

Hope to bring you more exciting football action.
