To the Editor:

The time for a decision on the proposed development of Benn’s Grant is coming soon. Have you called or e-mailed your supervisor and let them know your thoughts on this most important rezoning? The supervisors need your input as they ponder what is best for our county.

They must remember this intersection is home to St. Lukes and Benns United Methodist Church these are not just buildings these are religious shrines and should be given the dignity they deserve. This intersection must be well planned and made beautiful so when you approach it you know you are someplace very special. This must be done right the first time; there will be no second chance.

Get in touch with all five supervisors and let them know if you think this proposed development is best for our county. Don’t wait until it is too late.

Phillip Bradshaw can be reached at 562-2316, James Brown at 357-5798, Stan Clark at 357-0877, Tom Ivy at 365-4437 and Tom Wright at 242-9755. Hope to see you at the Planning Commission Public Hearing Tuesday Sept. 25 at 6 p.m. You must make your voice heard.
