MURFREESBORO, N.C.—Judith Perry Harris, 62, died Sept. 12, 2007.

Mrs. Harris was born Nov. 12, 1944 in Hertford County, the daughter of the late Percy Winborne and Hattie Copeland Perry.

She was a member of Meherrin Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two children, Gary and Larry Harris and a sister, Jean Castellow.

Survivors include her husband, Elwood Harris of the home; a daughter, Wanda Green of Aulander, N.C.; a son, Joey Harris Sr. and wife Anita of Courtland; three sisters, Elsie Harrison and husband Cola of Ahoskie, N.C., Erlene Davis of Pendleton, N.C. and Edith Perry of Gambrills, Md.; a brother, Earl Perry of Rockville, Md.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services was to be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Meherrin Baptist Church with the Rev. James Hester officiating. Burial was to follow in the church cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Massey Funeral Home, Jackson, N.C. was in charge of arrangements.
