SUFFOLK—Howard P. Haskins, 81, of the 2400 block of Randolph St. died Aug. 26, 2007, in Nansemond Pointe Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

Mr. Haskins was a native of Southampton County and son of the late Linwood and Louise Warren Haskins.

He was retired from Gray Lumber Company and was a member of Gilfield Baptist Church of Ivor.

Survivors include two sisters, Barbara Whitfield and Catherine Wiggins, both of Suffolk; three brothers, Herman Haskins, Lawrence Haskins (Sarah) and Benito Haskins, all of Suffolk; two sisters-in-law; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. today in Crocker Funeral Home, 900 E. Washington St., Suffolk, by the Rev. Eustice Mitchell.

Interment will be in Gilfield Baptist Church Cemetery, Ivor.
