M. #8220;Mac#8221; D. McClenny

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.—M. “Mac Davis McClenny, died Aug. 8, 2007.

Mr. McClenny was born on Dec. 4, 1922, in Franklin.

He has been a longtime resident of Indianapolis.

He and his wife, Charlotte, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last September. He enjoyed golf, woodworking, fishing and traveling.

He served his country during World War II as an Army Air Corps pilot. He was a member and past president of Sertoma

of Broad Ripple, was a longtime member of Northminster Presbyterian Church and was a Virginia Tech alumni.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; son, Tim McClenny; daughter, Sharon Thomas; sister, Ann Copeland of Franklin; grandchildren, Connie Hill, Peter McClenny, Elizabeth Thomas and Amelia DeWitt; great-grandchildren, Bryan Hill, Dennis Mercer III and Camren McClenny.

A funeral service was held Aug. 13 at Northminster Presbyterian Church. Burial followed in Crown Hill Cemetery.
