How’s business? Good. We always welcome new business and the return of former clients.

One thing you wish everyone knew about your business: Our door is always open whether or not you have been here before or not.

Something you offer that a customer won’t find elsewhere: Friendly hometown service and a lot of years of experience

Advice to young entrepreneurs: Work hard, be flexible.

Your first job: Roses, when I was 16 years old

Your role model (in business or in life generally): Margaret Hicks n owner of Hicks Beauty Academy, where I graduated cosmetology school.

She taught me about life in general, how to be a good hair stylist, and how to deal with people on a daily basis.

The key to a successful business is: Someone once told me to be successful you should work half days (the first 12 hours or the second 12 hours).

You also need family support which I thankfully have in my husband, Ken.
