FRANKLIN—Lane “Bronco” Evans, 71, of the 700 block of Cameron Street died July 29, 2007 in Sentara Obici Hospital.

Mr. Evans retired from Union Camp.

Survivors include a daughter, Arlene Hill of Courtland; son, Delton Turner of California; five brothers, Royal “Richard” Lane, Willie Bryant and Vernon Bryant (Sharon), all of Franklin, James Evans (Mae) of Newport News and Arthur Bryant of Capron; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services was conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Community Church of Deliverance, Capron, with Bishop Albert Evan officiating.

Burial followed in Bryant’s Baptist Church cemetery.

Rountree & Associates was in charge of arrangements.
