David M. Durham

NORFOLK—David “Dave” Mallory Durham, died Aug. 1, 2007, in Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 11, 1949, in Richmond, and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
Mr. Durham was athletic director and equipment manager of the Tidewater Athletic Club (Neptune). He was also a past vice president of baseball and worked with the building and grounds committee of Azalea Little League.
He belonged to the Knights of Pythians Charity Lodge No. 10 where he was the past Chancellor Commander, District Deputy Grand Domain of Virginia and Dokki Royal Prince.
Survivors include his loving wife, Linda Durham; daughter, Mallory; two stepsons, Jason Hernholm of Chesapeake and John Hernholm of Carrsville; two sisters, Nancy Cassidy of Herndon and Ann Marie Prentice of Groves, Texas; granddaughter, Leila; grandson, Robert; and numerous other family members and friends.
Family and friends will gather for a memorial service to celebrate his life at noon Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Knights of Pythians Charity Lodge No. 10, 5341 East Princess Anne Road, Norfolk, VA 23502.
