Would-be contestants for the Talent Show at this year’s Franklin- Southampton County Fair are encouraged to polish their acts and prepare for the fair. Applications are being accepted through Aug. 1 and contestants are expected to appear for a preliminary judging on Aug. 2. There are three age divisions with four categories in each division for instrumental, vocal, dance and stand-up comedy.
