PRINCE GEORGE—Mark Pierre Presson, 52, died July 21, 2007.

Born in Portsmouth, lived in the Western Branch area of Chesapeake during his teen years. The second of five children, he was a born comedian with a love of the Lord, children, sports and music.

His career in television production included worldwide travels. He was a member of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church in Zuni.

Survivors include the love of his life, best friend, constant caregiver and wife, Linda Jernigan and her son Ryan Yeatts; his parents, Burton and Trudy Presson; brothers, Russell of Roanoke, Brian and Shawn of Zuni; sister, Dana Sorrell of Franklin; and extended family, the Jernigans and nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in Tucker Swamp Baptist Church, 37527 Seacock Chapel Road, Zuni, with the Rev. Steve Bradshaw officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
