Councill-Brown

WASHINGTON, D.C.—Ann Bohannon Councill and Ryan Fellows Brown were sealed for time and all eternity in the Washington, D.C. temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on June 8.

The bride is the daughter of the Honorable and Mrs. James P. Councill III of Franklin.

The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Vance D. Brown of Mission Viejo, Calif.

Maternal grandparents of the bride are Dorothy J. Trotman and the late John Franklin Trotman of Winston-Salem,

N.C. and paternal grandparents are the late Honorable and Mrs. J. Paul Councill Jr. and Mrs. Genie Councill of Franklin.

Grandparents of the groom are Marilyn Reed Travis of Mission Viejo and the late Alfred Lester Fellows and Mary Barker Brown of Boise, Idaho and the late Vance Lester Brown Sr.

After the ceremony in Washington, the wedding party traveled back to Franklin for a reception in their honor at Cypress Cove Country Club. DJ Wayne Cooke provided the music for dancing.

The bride wore a formal gown of champagne, matte organza embellished with crystals, pearls and embroidery and carried a bouquet of calla lilies and roses.

Brothers, brother-in-law, sisters and sisters-in-law of the bride and groom served as atendants.

The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and will make their home in St. Louis, Mo.

Parties for the bride were hosted by Mrs. Duane Blythe and Mrs. William J. Kannan; Gail Drake and Carrie Drake and by Mrs. Joe Nye Wiggins and Mrs. Eric Garofalo.
