Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. Brown of Richmond announce the engagement of their daughter, Bonita Janeen Brown, to Dominique Daniel Reynolds of Norfolk, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Keith Yancey of Chesapeake.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul S. Brown of Watkins Glen, N.Y., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman Macklin Sr. of Franklin.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Reynolds Sr. and Joyce Yancey and the late Harry Yancey, all of Norfolk.

Brown is a graduate of Hampton University and Virginia State University and is a school counselor.

Reynolds is a graduate of Norfolk State University and is a band director. Both Brown and Reynolds are employees of Richmond Public Schools.

A Dec. 1 wedding is planned.
