FRANKLIN—Kimberly Taylor and Raymond Parker Jr. were married on June 16 in Franklin Baptist Church by the Rev. Sharon James.

The bride is the daughter of Peggy and Scotty Stephenson and the granddaughter of Dorothy Gibson, all of Franklin.

The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond R. Parker Sr.

The bride was given in marriage by her children and escorted by her son, Gerreald Taylor.

Matron of honor was Kelley Taylor, daughter of the bride.

The groom’s best man friend Chuck Griffith served as best man.

A reception, given by family members, followed the ceremony.

After a honeymoon in Nags Head, N.C. they will reside in Franklin.

On May 20, Amy Jernigan Riggs, niece of the groom and Teresa Parker Jernigan, sister of the groom, hosted a bridal shower for Taylor in the home of Amy Riggs.

The bride-to-be received a variety of useful gifts.
