Lorraine M. Hooper

VIRGINIA BEACH—Lorraine Marie LeBlanc Hooper, 76, died July 7, 2007.

Born in Salem, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Delia Pelletier LaBlanc and was the widow of Walter H. Hooper. She was an operating room nurse’s assistant and a Catholic.

Survivors include two daughters, Maureen P. Riley of Chesapeake and Linda A. Mills and husband, Thomas, of Ivor; one brother, Henry LeBlanc of Beverly, Mass.; and four grandchildren, Henry, Maegan, Brianna, and Shannon.

Mrs. Hooper was predeceased by her first husband, Henry Riley.

A funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Peabody, Ma. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at Cuff-McGinn Funeral Home in Lynn, Mass. Wright Funeral Home is handling local arrangements.
