Raymond Riddick

FRANKLIN-Raymond Riddick, 87, of the 100 block of

Fairview Drive, died June 30, 2007, in East Pavilion Nursing Center.

Mr. Riddick was a native of Drum Hill, N.C., and a son of the late James Riddick and Alvanie V. Riddick. He was the widow of Glozie Mae Riddick.

He retired from Union Camp Company.

Survivors include four daughters, Vera Johnine Riddick of Winter Way, Md., Laura Copeland of Capitol Heights, Md., Leotha Brockington (Bishop Emerson) of Washington, D.C., and Shirleen Copeland of Killeen, Texas; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at New Gospel Temple C.O.G.I.C. by Elder Gerald Goodman and Bishop Emerson Brockington.

Interment will be held in the Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.

The family will assemble at Crocker Funeral Home Saturday at 9 a.m. for the procession to the church, where a wake will be held from 10 to 11 a.m.
