To the Editor:

On Memorial Day each year, Patsy Bridges of Hunterdale calls more than 100 veterans to thank them for having served their country.

After more than 60 years since World War II, it warms the heart to receive such a call. We also recall those who gave their lives that we might enjoy today’s freedoms.

Thank you, Patsy, for remembering, and helping us to remember.
