Wood-Fancher

FRANKLIN—Tiffany Anne Wood and Nicholas Donald Fancher were united in marriage on Dec. 16, 2006 at the Wakefield 4-H Center in Wakefield. A Christmas candlelight ceremony was performed by U.S. Navy Chaplain Allen Presser.

The bride is the daughter of Sharon and Carson Hill of Franklin and Jeffrey Lynn Wood of Franklin. She is a 2005 graduate of Paul D. Camp Community College. She is currently employed with Manry-Rawls Insurance Agency as an insurance agent.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Fancher of Gloversville, N.Y. AO2 Fancher is currently employed with the U.S. Navy. He is stationed in Norfolk.

The bride’s friend, Ashley Griffith served as the maid of honor. Dawn Hill, sister-in-law of the bride and friend Dori Forrest served as bridesmaids.

The groom’s brother Bradley Fancher served as the best man. Arick Hill, brother-in-law of the groom and friend Bradley Slye served as groomsmen.

Mikayla Brooks and Taylor Fancher served as the flower girls. Savannah Renee Hill, niece of the bride, was the honorary flower girl. Brant Fancher, nephew of the groom, served as the ring bearer.

The mistress of ceremonies was Tammy Lowe,

aunt of the bride. Kelly Kokas and Brittney Lowe, cousins of the bride, attended the register. Soloist was Mary Dunn. Musicians whom performed at the wedding were Sara Pittman, Bekah Futrell and Blaine Britt. The theme from “Titanic” was dedicated to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lowe Sr., Cecil Lowe and Roy Hill.

Following the ceremony a dinner reception was held in the main dining room at the 4-H Center.

A bridal shower was given by the bride’s maid of honor at the bride’s home. Friends and coworkers of the bride also held a bridal shower at the bride’s place of employment. A Christmas shower was given by the bride’s grandmother, Betty Lowe and great-grandmother, Susie Eaton, both of Franklin.

A bridal luncheon given by Lori Drake, Sylvia Lowe and Tammy Lowe was held at Pam’s Tea Room the day of the wedding.

After a honeymoon in Pocono, Pa., the couple now resides in Franklin.
