Eleanor E. Allaback, 89, of Carpenter died Sept. 22 in Carpenter.

She was born July 10, 1917, in Adair County, Iowa.

She was a homemaker.

She married Marion Dayton Allaback on May 12, 1941, in Kimball, Neb.

She is survived by her son, Ronald D. Allaback of Newcastle; a daughter, Connie M. and Rudy Breeden of Carpenter; a sister, Ruth Means of Fontanelle, Iowa; niece and nephew, Candy and Tom Marchese of Omaha, Neb., Marion Reeder of Carpenter and Glenn and Patty Allaback of Reno, Nev.; grandchildren, Kyle and Tippy Breeden, Misty and Blair Balls, all of Carpenter; great-grandchildren, Jacobi Balls, Emily Breeden, Brittany Balls, Kenny Balls and Royce Breeden, all of Carpenter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Dayton Allaback on March 17, 1981; her parents, Edwin and Mary Glade; a brother, Keith Glade, during World War II; and a nephew, Marvin Reeder.

A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Carpenter Cemetery.

Burial will be in Carpenter Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Blair Balls, Rudy Breeden, Kyle Breeden, Larry Hinker, Buster Childers and Jeff Rhoades.

Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Miller, Marion Reeder, Carl Johnson, Richard Miller and Tom Marchese.

Friends may contribute to the Carpenter Cemetery Association.
